In addition to his written and spoken work, Bud operates a solo music project titled The Veil Breachers—a one-man, AI-assisted Christian music project spanning cinematic, EDM, rock, and worship styles. The Veil Breachers focuses on end-times themes, spiritual warfare, and Scripture-based messaging, using modern soundscapes to communicate timeless biblical truth.
Outside of ministry and creative work, Bud is an entrepreneur and community leader. He is the founder and operator of 7S Services, a residential and commercial cleaning company based in Asheboro, North Carolina. Through his business, Bud emphasizes integrity, excellence, and service—seeing entrepreneurship as another avenue to live out his faith in practical, everyday ways.
At the heart of Bud’s calling is a burden God placed on him early in his walk with Christ: to awaken believers and seekers alike to the reality that the Bible is not an ancient relic, but a living and authoritative Word—one that speaks directly to a world increasingly marked by spiritual confusion, deception, and darkness. Through research, teaching, writing, music, and prayer, Bud seeks to illuminate the unseen spiritual battles influencing culture, history, and individual lives, always pointing back to Jesus Christ as the ultimate source of truth, hope, and redemption.
Above all, Bud is a devoted husband and father of six. He views his family not as secondary to his calling, but as one of its greatest expressions. He actively serves through his local church, nonprofit organizations, and outreach efforts, striving to balance leadership with humility and service. His work is not driven by recognition or platform, but by obedience to God and faithfulness to the calling entrusted to him.

Full Biography — Bud Shropshire
Bud Shropshire is a Christian researcher, teacher, author, and podcast host devoted to helping others recognize the living truth, relevance, and active unfolding of God’s Word in the modern world. He is the founder and host of Signs & Shadows, as well as the founder of Sword and Shield Investigations, a Christian spiritual warfare and discernment initiative, and Watcher Times, a platform dedicated to examining current events, culture, and history through a biblical lens.
Bud’s calling is shaped by a rare balance of spiritual conviction and investigative discipline. A former police officer, Eagle Scout, inventor, author, and researcher, he brings a methodical, evidence-driven approach to Scripture, prophecy, and spiritual realities. His professional background in security and computer systems reinforces his analytical mindset—training him to identify patterns, test claims, and pursue truth with clarity and structure rather than speculation.
His ministry foundation is firmly rooted in biblical training and accountability. Bud is a graduate of Way of the Master, is ordained through Christian Leaders Institute, and is currently enrolled in the International School of the Word – School of Ministries, where he continues to deepen his theological education and pastoral preparation. He believes faithful ministry requires humility before God, submission to Scripture, and a lifelong commitment to learning.
Beyond Signs & Shadows, Bud is also the founder and voice of Spooky Halls, a storytelling and investigative brand exploring eerie, mysterious, and unsettling encounters through a worldview grounded in discernment and truth. Under the pen name R.D. Shrop, he is the author of the Spooky Halls book series, blending suspense and atmosphere with deeper moral and spiritual themes.
Bud is also the author of The End Time Survival Manual, a Scripture-based guide written to help believers navigate the spiritual, cultural, and personal challenges of the last days with wisdom, preparedness, and faith firmly anchored in Christ.
