Bud Shropshire is the founder of Sword and Shield Investigations, a Christian spiritual warfare team, and Watcher Times, a platform dedicated to viewing the world through a biblical lens.
Bud is an accomplished servant of God with a diverse background. He is a former police officer, Eagle Scout, inventor, author, researcher, and speaker. He is a By Way of the Master graduate, ordained through Christian Leaders Institute, and is currently enrolled and actively working through the International School of the Word – School of Ministries, continuing to deepen his biblical training and pastoral preparation.
With professional experience in security and computer systems, Bud brings a disciplined, investigative mindset to his calling—approaching scripture, current events, and spiritual realities with discernment, structure, and purpose.
God has placed a burden on Bud’s heart to help others see that the Word of God is not distant or outdated, but true, relevant, and unfolding before our eyes. Through prayer-driven research, teaching, and writing, he seeks to reveal how biblical truth continues to intersect with the modern world.
A devoted father of six, Bud dedicates his life to serving God through his church, multiple nonprofit organizations, and his ongoing ministry work. His mission is rooted in prayer—that the boldness of God would flow through his life and into the lives of others.
Bud firmly believes that if he can help even one person draw closer to God, he has changed the world—because that person will tell another, and another, and another.
